It has recently been observed that an unlicensed electronic financial application has emerged in areas where the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia is present in South Darfur.

Accordingly, the Central Bank of Sudan, as the entity exclusively authorized to issue licenses for conducting financial and banking transactions in the country pursuant to the applicable laws and regulations, hereby notifies that the aforementioned entity is not licensed to operate in Sudan. Therefore, any dealing with it constitutes a violation of national laws and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act of 2014.

Accordingly, the general public, as well as official and legal entities, are advised not to engage with this entity or any interface, transaction, or application associated with it, whether within Sudan or abroad.

The Central Bank of Sudan also warns of significant risks, including:

  • Lack of any recourse in the event of loss or compromise of passwords or access credentials to the platform.

  • Absence of any guarantees in case of misappropriation or infringement of deposited or transferred funds.

  • Violation of international laws and agreements, such as anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, and counter-proliferation financing regulations.
