In the context of strengthening institutional communication and reinforcing values of belonging, Ms. Amina Mirghani Hassan Al-Toum, Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, and Mr. Al-Mu’tasim Abdullah Ahmed Al-Faki, First Deputy Governor, exchanged Eid Al-Adha greetings with Central Bank employees.
The Governor praised the efforts and sacrifices of the Armed Forces and supporting forces in protecting the country, and expressed her sincere wishes for everyone’s continued health and well-being. She prayed that Almighty God would bring this blessed occasion back to the country while it enjoys peace, security, stability, and development.
In the same context, the Governor and her First Deputy commended the sincere efforts and professional performance of Central Bank employees, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the principles of loyalty and institutional belonging, and continuing to exert more efforts while working in a team spirit to achieve the Bank’s strategic objectives and support the national economy.
In a related development, the Governor and her First Deputy received Eid greetings from the Chairman of the Sudanese Banks Union and the General Managers of operating banks in the country. They expressed their appreciation for the leading and pioneering role played by the Central Bank in reforming, developing, and advancing the banking sector, stressing the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between the Central Bank and commercial banks to steer the sector towards stability and resilience.
For her part, the Governor appreciated this gesture, affirming the importance of enhancing coordination and joint integration between the Central Bank and commercial banks, in a way that contributes to improving the efficiency of the banking sector, increasing its ability to face challenges, and achieving financial stability, digital transformation, and sustainable economic growth.
It is worth noting that these meetings reflect an institutional approach through which the Central Bank of Sudan seeks to strengthen cooperation and build a shared working environment among various components of the banking system in order to serve the higher interests of the national economy.
