Subject: Eid Al-Adha Holiday

With reference to the letter of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers No. (A ع/م و/1/أ/5/4/9) dated 7 Dhul-Hijjah 1443H, corresponding to 6 July 2022, concerning the above-mentioned subject, I am pleased to inform you that the Eid Al-Adha holiday for employees of the banking sector will, God willing, begin on Saturday, 9 July 2022, and will continue until Thursday, 14 July 2022. Employees will resume their duties thereafter in accordance with the regulations and rules governing official working days and hours.

Accordingly, the General Managers of banks are kindly requested to follow up with the relevant departments in their banks to ensure that ATMs are supplied with sufficient cash throughout the holiday period.

On this occasion, I am also pleased to convey to you the greetings of the Board of Directors and the Senior Management of the Central Bank of Sudan. We ask Allah Almighty to return this blessed occasion upon us all while our country enjoys security, peace, and prosperity.
