The Central Bank of Sudan confirms its continued provision of foreign currency through the banking system and its response to banks’ requests to finance the needs of their importer clients, provided that such requests comply with the prescribed regulations and procedures.
In this regard, the issuance of Circular No. (16/2026) does not mean that the Central Bank of Sudan has withdrawn from the foreign exchange market or ceased its foreign currency injections. Rather, the Bank will continue to intervene in accordance with the approved policies and procedures, in a manner that contributes to the stability of the foreign exchange market and meets the essential needs of the economy.
God grants success.
