The Central Bank of Sudan hereby announces to the public that a new printing of the 1,000 Sudanese Pound banknote (second edition) has been issued, in which the signature of the former Governor, Mr. Hussein Yahya Jangoul, has been replaced with the signature of the current Governor, Mr. Burai Sediq Ali, as per the attached specimen.

This issuance maintains the same specifications and security features as the previous editions.

The date of this issuance is August 2023.

Please note that all editions and printings of the 1,000 Sudanese Pound banknote remain valid and legal tender.
